EXPERIENTIAL SCIENCE EDUCATION
I have taught original, inquiry-based courses in biology and earth science to high school students in Florida and Massachusetts. Immersion in nature is central to my natural sciences teaching philosophy, so regular field trips (local and out-of-state) are a primary component of my curriculum design. Though currently a full-time graduate student, I am available for consultation regarding enhancing learning experiences in the sciences for secondary and post-secondary students.
